About 15 years ago I was wandering the streets of NY and popped into some cool shop where they had a collection of original Lover's Eyes. I fell in love as I was not familiar with these little tokens of affection. I couldn't afford a single one so I started painting my own versions on everything from canvases, plates, spoons and Art-O-Mats. Now back to the original format of the real ones... jewelry.
Originals were often water color on ivory. Mine are oil paintings on found brooches.
